Poetry is the heart’s song, and it must be sung live. 

Traci Meister has been a performance poet for 12 years.  At a young age Traci realized that despite the tone of her voice, she had volumes to say.  As her pen hit the page she noticed a rhythm exuding from her work.  It caused her to speak, to shout aloud the black and white and free its color into the atmosphere.  The words of our mouths have power and Traci refuses to stifle it.

Traci has released her debut poetry album, entitled seY Yes.  The album dwells in both the literary and music communities by showcasing Traci’s song writing and performance poetry.  The album brings alive the art of storytelling as Traci speaks to transcend all boundaries of the written and spoken language.
